Facility Completely
Reopens on September 7, 2013
The Genoveva Chavez Community Center (GCCC) is closing temporarily for annual
maintenance. The basketball gymnasium and track will be closed beginning on
Monday, August, 19. The entire facility will close beginning on Saturday, August
24. The facility, with the exception of the basketball gymnasium and track, will
re-open at 5:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 3. The basketball gymnasium and track
are expected to re-open on Saturday, September 7. The closure will allow
Recreation Division Staff to complete essential annual maintenance tasks
throughout the facility.
During the
closure GCCC memberships will be honored at the Fort Marcy Complex and Salvador
Perez Pool. The GCCC front desk will be available for registration throughout
the closure; Saturday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The Genoveva
Chavez Community Center is a 177,000 square foot fitness facility which
includes: gymnasium, swimming pools, ice arena, weight room, indoor track and
many other amenities. The center is located at 3221 Rodeo Road, Santa Fe, NM.
