City of Santa Fe Buses Are Free for Indian Market Weekend August 17-18

Free Parking and Bus Service at Santa Fe Place Mall and South Capitol Station

Sheridan Transit Center Temporarily Relocated August 15-18

City of Santa Fe bus service will be free on Indian Market weekend Saturday and Sunday, August 17-18, thanks to the North Central Regional Transit District, which is offsetting the cost. City of Santa Fe buses will run special routes and regular routes on those days and no fares will be collected.

There are two special routes, with free parking available for Indian Market: one route starts from Santa Fe Place and the other starts from South Capitol Station. These routes will operate from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday; and 7:15 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday.


From Santa Fe Place: The designated buses with the heading Special on their head signs will pick up people from Santa Fe Place and proceed to Cerrillos Road to pick up people in front of the hotels/motels along Cerrillos Road, and drop them off at the temporary Transit Center on West Alameda Street.


From South Capitol Station: The designated buses with the heading Special on their head signs will pick up people from South Capitol Station and drop them off at the temporary Transit Center on West Alameda Street.


In addition to the special routes on Indian Market weekend, Santa Fe Trails’ buses will operate regular service from 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Saturday; and 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the Sheridan Transit Center will be temporarily closed and re-located to West Alameda Street, between Guadalupe Street and Sandoval Street, Thursday-Sunday, August 15-18, 2013 for Indian Market.
