Sheridan Transit
Center Temporarily Relocated August 15-18
City of
Santa Fe bus service will be free on Indian Market weekend Saturday and Sunday,
August 17-18, thanks to the North Central Regional Transit District, which is
offsetting the cost. City of Santa Fe buses will run special routes and
regular routes on those days and no fares will be collected.
There are two special
routes, with free parking available for Indian Market: one route starts from
Santa Fe Place and the other starts from South Capitol Station. These routes
will operate from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday; and 7:15 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
on Sunday.
From Santa Fe
Place:
The designated buses with the heading Special on their head signs
will pick up people from Santa Fe Place and proceed to Cerrillos Road to pick up
people in front of the hotels/motels along Cerrillos Road, and drop them off at
the temporary Transit Center on West Alameda Street.
From South Capitol
Station: The designated buses
with the heading Special on their head signs will pick up people
from South Capitol Station and drop them off at the temporary Transit Center on
West Alameda Street.
In addition to the
special routes on Indian Market weekend, Santa Fe Trails’ buses will
operate regular service from 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Saturday; and 7:00 a.m.
to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday.
Meanwhile, the Sheridan
Transit Center will be temporarily closed and re-located to West Alameda Street,
between Guadalupe Street and Sandoval Street, Thursday-Sunday, August 15-18,
2013 for Indian Market.
