It's a tradition for the library blogger to enshrine the annual appearance of apricot blooms on the City Hall lawn on film. Super-extra points if the shots include the statue of St. Francis.Alas, after fighting the wind, camera in hand, all the best blossoms were on the far side of the statue. St. Francis almost looks sad, because all the petals behind him have blown away.
Just a reminder of how quickly spring rushes by, and to not take anything for granted.
