City of Santa Fe Easter Weekend Holiday Hours

The City of Santa Fe is advising the public of Easter weekend holiday hours and closures. Most City of Santa Fe offices and Municipal Court will be closed at noon on Friday, April 3, 2015 and on Easter Sunday, April 5, 2015.

Public Libraries
Santa Fe public libraries will close at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 3, 2015. All branches will be open regular hours on Saturday, April 4, 2015. The Main and Southside branch libraries will be open on Easter Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Recreation Centers
Fort Marcy Recreation Center, the Genoveva Chavez Community Center, and the Salvador Perez Pool will close at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, April 3, 2015. The Genoveva Chavez Community Center and Salvador Perez Pool will be open regular hours on Easter Sunday.

Santa Fe Trails
Santa Fe Trails bus service will operate on its regular schedule on Friday, April 3, 2015 and for the weekend.

Trash and Recycling Services

Santa Fe trash and recycling services will be picked up on its regular schedule on Friday, April 3, 2015 and for the weekend.

April Art Displays at SFPL

Stop by and peruse our great art shows that will be on display during the month of April!

Main Library Tybie Satin Davis Gallery and Display Cases: Laura Cowan, “Here, There, & Everywhere” (romantic watercolors and new fused glass). Artist reception will be held on Wednesday, April 1 from 5-7 p.m. on the 2nd floor of the Main Library (145 Washington Ave.).

La Farge Branch Library: Michelle Kulish, “Floral Designs”


Southside Branch Library: ARTsmart Students, “Spring ARTsmart Student Exhibit” (mixed media). ARTsmart (formerly F.A.C.T.) is a 501c3 nonprofit that was founded in 1993. It provides more than 2,200 hours of instruction in the visual arts to the youth of New Mexico each year.

The annual New Mexico Battle of the Books competition is designed for elementary and middle school aged students who enjoy reading, having fun and demonstrating their knowledge of books.
Make sure to register your team by March 25th if you are using the online registration form.  If you are printing out the registration form and mailing it in, please make sure that the enveloped is postmarked by March 20th.
The 2015 Battle of the Books registration begins at 9:00 a.m, Saturday, April 18th at the Santa Fe Community College
