Zimmerman Update

We received the following update about UNM's Zimmerman Library, "The UNM Zimmerman Library first floor reference area was reopened on January 16, 2007. We have expanded the public spaces and added many more computers. There is a link on our web page at http://elibrary.unm.edu that goes to our Zimmerman Services Updates page; it links to a Power point: Zimmerman Fire & Recovery Slides 20 through 23 show the new reference area. The students were thrilled by the opening; they occupied nearly all of the new computers within minutes of the cutting of the tape. We’re delighted with this major step in our recovery from the April, 2006 fire." The Zimmerman Services Updates page includes links to a presentation of photographs, and a preliminary list of lost materials.
