Santa Fe Named as one of America's Top Mountain Bike Towns

USA TODAY named Santa Fe as one of America’s top towns for mountain biking. The article says the beautiful views of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains and its age of 400 years make it a cool place to ride. City Councilor Patti Bushee who is the Chair of the Bicycle and Trials Advisory Committee said, “I am thrilled to see all our hard work has paid off. Santa Fe is recognized and on the map as having some of the best mountain biking trails in the world.”

The City of Santa Fe has over 50-miles of hiking and mountain biking trails; these also include some shared multi-use trails for equestrians. The city's foothill trails connect to other well-known trails in Santa Fe County, the Santa Fe National Forest and the Nature Conservancy.
