New Mexico Book Association's Richard Harris Memorial Honor, Sunday, October 13

Celebrating the Great Literary City of Santa Fe

The Richard Harris Memorial Honor – free to the public on Sunday, October 13 at 7:00 pm at the First Presbyterian Church at 208 Grant, celebrates individuals and organizations that have made lasting literary contributions to our city.

There will be music, readings by incredible readers, honor presentations, poetry, and refreshments.

From Barbara Beasley Murphy, New Mexico Book Association:
“Although not called a Celebration of the New Mexico Book Association, that's what this is.  Richard Harris helped create it, the city of Santa Fe encourages our artists who are writers, and the great state of New Mexico flourishes because of the Word Gotten Out.

You will learn about Richard Harris, hear readings from New Mexico authors and honor a few of the people who have created the great literary city of Santa Fe, profoundly affecting our lives.
It is a sign for us of a new era for dedicated writers, editors and publishers and book sellers with literary expressions revealing the heart of being human, its gift, its power and beauty.”
