Keep Santa Fe
Beautiful, Make a Difference, and Volunteer
Keep Santa Fe Beautiful, Inc. and the City of Santa Fe are sponsoring the
29th annual 2013 Great American Cleanup on Saturday, April 27.
Volunteers are asked to meet at the Antonio C. Roybal building located at 1142
Siler Road, from 7 to 9 a.m., to pick up bags, work gloves, and T-shirts.
Volunteers are needed and will be assigned to areas to pick up litter or cleanup
in neighborhoods; school groups also can pick up litter in their neighborhood or
on their school campus.
City
Environmental Services and Parks Division crews will pick up the trash for
disposal. Afterward, beginning about noon, volunteers are invited to a picnic at
the Nancy Rodriguez Center, 1 Prairie Loop, to thank volunteers who participate
in the community event. Food is being donated by several different local
restaurants.
