The Arts Commission Community Gallery, in Collaboration with the City of Santa Fe Solid Waste Division and The Recycle Santa Fe Art Festival, announces the exhibit “Waste/Not”. The Community Gallery will present an exhibition featuring artistic work that incorporates a minimum of 50% recycled materials whose final destination would have otherwise been a landfill. This exciting exhibit was curated to bring a critical light to the myriad of issues related to recycling, while presenting inspiring works for the public to consider not only for their material composition, but also their wonder and beauty.

The work of over 20 artists will be represented in the “Waste/Not” exhibit, with a variety of media in both 2D and 3D and a full range of price points. The exhibit will include work by: Michael Freed, Goldie Garcia, Geoffrey Gorman, Marion Martinez, Darlene Olivia McElroy, Joe “Buffalo” Nickels, Sallyann Paschall, Patricia Pearce, Bunny Tobias, Felicia Trujillo and Dee Ann Wagner and other fine New Mexico artists.
