The La Farge Branch Library, 1730 Llano Street, will be closed to the public indefinitely due to flood damage. The building sustained flooding in several sections of the Library.
The City is assessing the damages including the condition of books and other materials.
The City will reopen the Branch as soon as necessary repairs can be accomplished.
Until the La Farge Branch reopens, patrons are asked to return checked out materials to Southside or the Main Library. The La Farge book drop will not be available. No holds will be filled from the La Farge collection; patrons will be notified where to pick up holds.
During this time no Library programs or programs scheduled by the public in the La Farge Community Room will be held.

Both the Main Library, 145 Washington Avenue, 955-6781 and Southside Library, 6599 Jaguar, 955-2820, are open and will maintain regular hours.
