Come on out and attend the Veterans Day Parade and Ceremony on Sunday 11/11/2012!
The public is invited to the Plaza to watch the annual Veterans Day Parade at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, November 11 and attend the ceremony immediately following the parade at the All Veteran’s Memorial Monument at the Bataan building at 11 a.m. All veterans are invited to participate in the parade, which begins at Fire Station #1 on Murales Road, winds around the Plaza, and then ends at the memorial. Music will be provided by the Santa Fe Concert Band and local elementary school choirs.
Please come out and thank a veteran for his or her service!
Since Veterans Day falls on a Sunday this year, the Main branch will be open. Feel free to watch the parade with us, and come check out a book from our collection to learn more about the ways our brave soldiers have made sacrifices time and time again for our freedoms.
