Today is Veterans Day. On this day every year, we honor those who have fought for this country in military operations around the world. On this day, we read stories about the last surviving World War One veterans, or hear speeches about the Navajo Code Talkers from World War Two, or, less frequently, come across statistics about homelessness among Vietnam veterans.There's a newer wave of veterans that we should not forget. The non-profit organization Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America provides resources for these veterans, facts and information about the challenges they face, and opportunities for supporters to show that "we've got their back". So take some time today to educate yourself, and show your support for all veterans here.
