Election Information: Polling Locations

The City of Santa Fe’s Regular Municipal Election will be held on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 between the hours of 7 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.  To help people vote, Santa Fe Trails buses and Santa Fe Ride services will be FREE on Election Day.

The City Clerk will accept completed absentee ballots delivered by mail or in person by the voter, their caregiver, or by a member of the voter’s immediate family until 7:00 p.m. on March 4th at the City Clerk’s office located at City Hall, 200 Lincoln Ave. Absentee Ballots will not be accepted at polling locations

Due to precinct consolidations and district boundaries, different polling places are used for this election than Primary or General Elections.  If voters are not sure of their precinct or polling place, they should contact the City Clerk’s office at 955-6519.

The City of Santa Fe increased in population by 13,200 residents on January 1, 2014 during the latest phase of annexation. Registered voters in the newly annexed areas will be able to vote in the upcoming City Election. These residents did not have to re-register to be eligible to vote in Tuesday’s election.

Most of the annexed areas are included in the following precincts:
Precinct 31 (area including Boylan Circle and Nelson Loop)
Precinct 56 (area including Camino Jalisco and Mimbres Lane)
Precinct 62 (area including New Mexican Plaza to the Veterans Memorial Highway)
Precinct 64 (area including Country Club Gardens)
