Career Talks: Beginning in September, the La Farge branch of the Santa Fe Public Library will host monthly Career Talks for teens that will bring in professionals to share about their career. The goal is to expose high school students to interesting, in-demand careers and give them the opportunity to network with professionals. The professionals will give a brief (< 20 minute) talk about what they do and how they began their career and then allow time for questions, discussion, and/or a hands-on demonstration of their work.
When: Career Talks will begin September and will be ongoing, every first Wednesday of the month from 4:30-5:30 p.m.
“Teens! Meet interesting professionals with in-demand careers, learn how they got their start and take the opportunity to network!
