City
of Santa Fe offices including Santa Fe Municipal Court and Public Libraries
will be closed on Thursday and Friday, November 27-28, 2014 in observance of
Thanksgiving.
Trash
and recycling services will be picked up on Thursday and Friday. Please have
containers out by 8:00 a.m.
Santa
Fe Trails
bus service will not operate Thursday, November 27, 2014, however will resume
on Friday, November 28, 2014 on their Saturday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00
p.m.
North Central
Regional Transit District (NCRTD the RTD “Blue Buses” will not be in service Thursday
and Friday November 27-28. 2014. Regularly scheduled bus service
throughout north central New Mexico including Los Alamos, Rio Arriba, Santa Fe
and Taos Counties will resume on Monday, December 1, 2014.
Parking
Facilities
and street parking meters will be free in observation of the Thanksgiving Day
Holiday. However, Friday, November 28, 2014 they will all be on normal
operating hours and fees will apply.
Recreation
Centers
owned by the City of Santa Fe will be closed Thursday and Friday, November
27-28, 2014.
The
Buckman Road Recycling & Transfer Station and Caja del Rio Landfill will be closed on
Thanksgiving Day and will reopen on Friday, November 28, 2014. For more
information, please call Santa Fe Solid Waste Management Agency at 424-1850 or
go to www.SantaFeRecycling.org.
Annual
Holiday Tree Lighting will take place on the plaza, Friday, November
28, 2014, with entertainment beginning at 1:00 pm; the actual lighting will be
at 6 pm.
