Next Session of Technology Tuesdays at the Southside Branch is Tuesday, Feb. 11

Clueless about your new tablet? Need to fill out an online job application and don't know where to begin? Want to learn how to check out e-books from the library and need help getting started? The Southside Branch, 6599 Jaguar Drive, is here to help with all of these computer questions and more with Technology Tuesdays, a series of free monthly computer workshops starting this winter, and designed to help beginning computer users in need of a little basic technology support.

Workshops will be on the second Tuesday of each month through April at 10:00 a.m. in the Southside Library's Community Room. Next session is Tuesday, February 11.

Each one hour workshop will begin with a 15-20 minute presentation on a specific computer or technology-related topic, followed by an open forum session to answer general computer questions and work through basic computer problems.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own laptop or tablet, and any computer questions they may have.

Other topics to be presented over the course of the monthly sessions include computer safety and security, tips for job seekers, and checking out digital materials from Santa Fe Public Library. For more information, or to register please contact the Southside Reference Desk at (505) 955-2820.
