City Needs Volunteers for Bike-to-Work Week, May 13-17

In other bicycle news, the City of Santa Fe needs your help! The public is invited to help plan, support and participate in the City’s annual Bike-to-Work Week on May 13 to 17. The first planning meeting will be held on Monday March 18, at 5:15 p.m. in the City Councilors’ Conference Room at City Hall, 200 Lincoln Avenue.

Bike-to-Work Week is intended to get people out of their cars and onto their bicycles and features bike workshops, tune-up stations, and giveaways, with the week culminating in a gathering on May 17, 2013 at the Santa Fe Railyard. Last year’s Bike-to-Work Week events attracted many Santa Fe area commuters, families, and businesses with many people participating.
