Your Library Catalog just got a makeover!

Like those older homes featured on HGTV, a library catalog can also benefit from an occasional renovation.
Nothing extreme. Just something that pumps up the overall user experience, keeps everything up to code and adds that visual “curb appeal” – the kind that says “Welcome!” and, “stay awhile…”
NOTE: Our old catalog page, http://catalog.ci.santa-fe.nm.us will no longer be maintained.
Visit our new catalog https://catalog.santafelibrary.org/  Please update your bookmarks.

Upgrades include:

·         Browse materials by literally judging them by their cover.
·         Place holds and get to downloadable materials with fewer clicks.
·         Quickly identify where an item is located within the Library system.
·         Easily manage your checked out items and holds on your new streamlined accounts page.
·         Get recommendations based on what you’ve liked in the past.

Society for Applied Anthropology Hosts Special Program for Local Residents at the La Fonda Hotel. March 28 is Santa Fe/New Mexico Day at the annual conference and it’s free to the public.

A highlight is the special workshop – Writing the Southwest: A Conversation with Anne Hillerman, Michael McGarrity, Nasario Garcia, and Jeanne Simonelli (chair).

The day includes a series of lectures and special presentations on New Mexico heritage, archaeology, culinary traditions, climate change, water issues, immigration, and public health.  Don’t miss the historic New Mexico films. These little known short films are a treasure.

We hope to see you on March 28!
